Duke of Lancaster welcomes a visitor from Australia

On a warm sunny evening it was with great pleasure that the brethren of Duke of Lancaster Lodge No 1353 welcomed a guest from Australia, who is visiting a number of lodges whilst on holiday in the UK. Adel Amin is WM of Tewantin Lodge No 355, in Tewantin, Queensland, Australia.

Tewantin lies on the shores of Lake Doonella and the Noosa River, on Australia’s Gold Coast, about 40km by boat to the Great Barrier Reef.

Adel had the pleasure of witnessing a demonstration of the ceremony of passing by the officers of the lodge and afterwards joining them at the festive board.

Adel thanked the lodge for making him feel welcome and extended an invitation to visit his lodge in Australia if any brother just happened to be passing by!
