Over 60 Freemasons 'Ride the Lights'

Over 60 brethren along with their wives, partners and children from across the Province took part in the annual ‘Ride the Lights’ event in Blackpool.

Why are they laughing? Was it because Santa asked the Provincial Grand Master if he was riding the lights! ?

The brethren were taking part in the ride along Blackpool seafront to raise funds for the West Lancashire MCF 2021 Festival appeal.

The annual event is held on the Tuesday night, the week before the illuminations are switched on. It gives a fabulous traffic free way to preview the illuminations.

The ride is always well supported by locals and visitors alike, as it is great opportunity to get out and about on bikes with both family and friends safely, as it is a car free evening with the seafront closed to cars to enable riders to start at any point along the promenade, from Starr Gate at South Shore to Red Bank Road in Bispham.

Overall the Masonic riders and their families raised a total of over £3,000 for the MCF 2021 Festival.
